New York Men’s Fashion week kicked off on Monday February 1, with a slew of immense talent, and I had the chance to cover both backstage and runway coverage, which I am really excited to share with you all! My experiences behind the scenes and on the risers, definitely gave me a degree of appreciation for the hard work that goes behind putting together a successful show/presentation. The nerves and anticipation backstage were never once reflected as the models hit the runway, most for more than one show. For the audience member that is seeing the collection for the first time, their view is one of appreciation for the clothing, while mine held that same appreciation, but also the admiration that follows having witnessed a fraction of the dedication involved into making fashion week the success that it is. I was really excited to go behind the scenes backstage and photograph various collections for my very first men’s fashion week. Here are some my favorite looks from the shows I attended.
